After fifteen years of web development experience for business, higher education, and non profits, Adam Smith joined Search Mojo in June 2012 as the Director of Technology. Alex Katzen joined Search Mojo in October 2012 and serves as the Public Relations Manager, specializing in online reputation management and public outreach. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English and received a certificate from the McIntire Business Institute.

Blaine Anderson obtained his Marketing degree from James Madison University in May 2012. After participating in the Google Online Marketing Challenge, he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in search marketing. He managed Google AdWords accounts for a political fundraising firm, and even did some freelance work, until he joined the Search Mojo team in December 2012. As a Jr. Account Manager, Blaine does search engine optimization and pay-per-click marketing. He enjoys the outdoors, books, music, good food, and laughing at how ridiculous life can be.
Heidi Kramer joined Search Mojo in January 2013 and currently serves as a Junior Account Manager, handling both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns for a variety of clients. Her previous work for a media and marketing solutions company inspired her to become more involved in the digital and search marketing industry. Heidi hails all the way from Wisconsin, with a degree in Marketing from Winona State University in Minnesota. She reports from our Charleston, South Carolina office.
Janet Driscoll Miller is a leading search engine marketing expert, with over ten years of search marketing experience. In 2005, she founded Search Mojo, a search engine marketing firm based in Virginia. In addition to her role as President of Search Mojo, Janet is married to Tad Miller and mom to Emma, Molly and a golden furry child, Daisy the golden retriever.
Jenny is the Design Optimization Manager at Search Mojo. She has a BFA in Graphic Design and a background in project management and design for higher education non-profit, small business, and medical publishing. Jenny has a passion for marketing and brings a creative eye and an analytical mind to her optimization and design approach, leveraging her expertise in design strategy, project management, and conversion optimization to develop well-crafted, intuitive user experiences that lead to improved demand generation. As part of the content marketing team, Jenny designs and executes creative materials and testing strategies in support of SEO, PPC, and content marketing efforts. Kari Rippetoe joined Search Mojo in September 2012 as content marketing manager, helping clients develop compelling content pieces for search optimization and lead generation. She is a HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certified Professional, Honors Distinction with over 12 years’ experience with search, social media, e-mail, and content marketing. After studying marketing and communications at the University of Texas, San Antonio, Kari went on to manage online marketing strategies and campaigns for a variety of companies and organizations, including Liquidity Services, Inc. and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Matt serves as a Junior Account Manager at Search Mojo, managing both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click advertising (PPC) campaigns for a portfolio of clients. He started working at Search Mojo after graduating Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University where he studied marketing. Matt was inspired to work as an internet marker after competing in the Google Marketing Challenge in his marketing 490 class taught by Dr. Theresa Clarke. The challenge consists of thousands of teams from around the globe who are provided $250 to build, run, and optimize a Google PPC campaign for a client new to AdWords. After a successful campaign working with the Virginia Aquarium, Matt knew he would love to pursue similar work in his career.
Nicole Bandy joined Search Mojo after earning a Business degree in Marketing from James Madison University. Nicole’s previous experiences include data analysis in the computer software industry and participation in the Google Online Marketing Challenge. At Search Mojo, she handles search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns for client accounts. She is a Google AdWords and Google Analytics Certified Professional as well as a Certified eMarketer.
Sarah Bonner graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a BBA in Marketing and joined Search Mojo in December 2012. She was inspired to pursue a career in search marketing after participating in the Google Online Marketing Challenge. She is a Junior Account Manager, handling both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click advertising (PPC) campaigns for a variety of clients in different industries. She will be reporting from the Charleston, South Carolina office.
Sarah Wyland joined Search Mojo as an Account Manager in April 2013 and manages both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click advertising (PPC) campaigns for a portfolio of clients. Prior to joining Search Mojo, Sarah spent two years as a Social Media Manager for a major U.S. retailer in Nashville, giving her valuable experience with ecommerce clients while also working as a freelance music journalist. Sarah graduated with a degree in journalism, concentration in media management, from the University of Tennessee in December 2010. In her free time, Sarah enjoys writing, baking, DIY projects, attending concerts and watching college football.
Scott Garrett graduated from James Madison University in May 2012 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Art History. His experience with the Google Online Marketing Challenge inspired him to pursue a career in Search and he joined Search Mojo in September 2012. When he is not optimizing results for clients he enjoys relaxing to music and hiking.
