Alex Katzen joined Search Mojo in October 2012 and serves as the Public Relations Manager, specializing in online reputation management and public outreach. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English and received a certificate from the McIntire Business Institute.
Amanda graduated from James Madison University in 2008 with a Marketing degree, joining Search Mojo to launch her career and become a part of the world of Search. She serves as an Account Director, managing both SEO and PPC campaigns for clients. Amanda Chaney+
After fifteen years of web development experience for business, higher education, and non profits, Adam Smith joined Search Mojo in June 2012 as the Director of Technology. Blaine Anderson obtained his Marketing degree from James Madison University in May 2012. After participating in the Google Online Marketing Challenge, he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in search marketing. He managed Google AdWords accounts for a political fundraising firm, and even did some freelance work, until he joined the Search Mojo team in December 2012. As a Jr. Account Manager, Blaine does search engine optimization and pay-per-click marketing. He enjoys the outdoors, books, music, good food, and laughing at how ridiculous life can be.
Heidi Kramer joined Search Mojo in January 2013 and currently serves as a Junior Account Manager, handling both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns for a variety of clients. Her previous work for a media and marketing solutions company inspired her to become more involved in the digital and search marketing industry. Heidi hails all the way from Wisconsin, with a degree in Marketing from Winona State University in Minnesota. She reports from our Charleston, South Carolina office.
Janet Driscoll Miller is a leading search engine marketing expert, with over ten years of search marketing experience. In 2005, she founded Search Mojo, a search engine marketing firm based in Virginia. In addition to her role as President of Search Mojo, Janet is married to Tad Miller and mom to Emma, Molly and a golden furry child, Daisy the golden retriever.
Jenny DeGraff is the web and graphic designer at Search Mojo, designing landing pages, infographics, banner ads and anything else creative for internal and client use. Jenny has over 6 years of web and print design experience from higher education, non-profit, and medical and small business publishing, along with a BFA in Graphic Design. Kari Rippetoe joined Search Mojo in September 2012 as content marketing manager, helping clients develop compelling content pieces for search optimization and lead generation. She is a HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certified Professional, Honors Distinction with over 12 years’ experience with search, social media, e-mail, and content marketing. After studying marketing and communications at the University of Texas, San Antonio, Kari went on to manage online marketing strategies and campaigns for a variety of companies and organizations, including Liquidity Services, Inc. and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Michelle Doty joined Search Mojo in September, 2012 as Social Media Specialist, utilizing her degree in Media Studies and past experience in PR to help clients develop innovative social marketing strategies to engage, connect, and communicate with each brand’s unique audience, while always optimizing for SEO. Sarah Bonner graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a BBA in Marketing and joined Search Mojo in December 2012. She was inspired to pursue a career in search marketing after participating in the Google Online Marketing Challenge. She is a Junior Account Manager, handling both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click advertising (PPC) campaigns for a variety of clients in different industries. She will be reporting from the Charleston, South Carolina office.
Sarah serves as a Social Media Manager at Search Mojo advising clients on social media best practices for SEO, as well as strategizing and implementing Facebook and LinkedIn Advertising campaigns. Sarah writes for the Search Mojo Blog, Social Media Today, SarahLokitis.com, and Social Media Examiner. She has presented at SMX: Social Media Marketing, SMX: Toronto, MarketingProfs University: Search Marketing School, the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and Charlottesville SheBlogs. Prior to Search Mojo, Sarah interned as a marketing communications intern at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and as a social media strategist for the International Food Policy Research Institute.
