Not being new to MSN adCenter, I have had my fair share of qualms with both the online interface as well as the desktop application in the past, so I know how frustrating it can be to work with. All of the accounts I have managed up until this point have been set up as stand alone accounts, and now that more and more clients are beginning to utilize Bing as an advertising channel, I recently set up an adCenter “client center,” or in MSN’s language, “client-agency relationship,” which will allow us to access all of our client accounts under one login, very similar to Google AdWords’ My Client Center. This was a daunting task for me, as the adCenter help centers aren’t exactly user-friendly or provide all the details you need, so I thought I’d summarize the process for all those out there new to the MSN adCenter Client-Agency Relationship.
First things first, you will need to create your Agency account. To do this, set up an adCenter account just as you normally would, just be sure to put in your agency information and select “Agency or Sales House” as the industry type.
For the next steps, you will need to be sure to either establish access to your client’s account, or send them this information so they can follow the steps below to complete the client-agency relationship.
