When the Spread of Ideas Stops

I was locked out of Twitter for much of last Thursday and Friday, so it was a strange couple of days in my books. Yes, I was able to focus on the job at hand, but also, wasn’t exposed to others’ opinions and thoughts about the industry and world in general.
Is this a good or bad thing? If we want to work in a silo, then, I guess it’s a good thing. However, quickly spreading ideas, news stories and thoughts is a good thing in my opinion. Today, being back on Twitter makes all the difference in my awareness level of industry and world news.
