This week I am psyched to be at the MarketingProfs Digital Marketing Forum in Austin, Texas! (Although don’t even get me started on the freak cold front that apparently blew into town at the precise moment I landed with delusional fantasies of sandal-weather in my head…) But even if the temperature is a bit of a let-down, the conference itself promises to be full of great insights.
For me, Digital Marketing Forum offers a great opportunity to hear about the latest trends in other online marketing channels besides my area of expertise (Search Engine Marketing). And that familiarity with a breadth of marketing disciplines is important for any marketer; in my experience, SEO invariably intersects with the email marketing/PR/lead generation projects that clients may already be engaged in. There is almost always room for integration of Search with other marketing efforts.
