Over the past few weeks, as Google has launched new products like Google Instant, I’ve heard the same old death knoll tolled for SEO: SEO is dead. I’ve been an SEO for about twelve years now, and it seems like every few days someone is proclaiming the death of SEO. Miraculously, most of us have seemed to survive.
So with that, I decided to start monitoring conversation regarding the “death of SEO” — so I could prepare for the impending apocalypse — a world without SEO. With the help of my Trackur account, I’m monitoring all mentions Trackur can find of “SEO is dead”, from tweets to Facebook status updates to articles.
So do yourself a favor, SEO community. Use my new “death of SEO” monitoring page to keep an eye on where SEO is going. You don’t want to be taken by surprise when the apocalypse hits.
